I am a registered nutritional therapist: What does this mean?
Nutritionists and Registered Nutritional Therapist are not protected titles by law, as such these different titles can cause confusion and encompass professionals that have qualified through a short course to a MSc in Nutritional Therapy.
When choosing a nutritional professional it is advisable to ensure that this person is registered with a professional body, such as The British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine to provide confidence that they are properly trained, qualified and insured, and that they abide by the CNHC’s Code of Conduct.

I have completed a Personal Care Institute accredited course and as such you can be assured that my coaching qualifications meets their highest standards which has been assessed by the rigorous quality assurance and accreditation framework
Evidence based approach: What is this?
Nutritional Practitioners review and critically assess the evidence to support their nutritional recommendations. The evidence base will include publications from governing bodies such as the Scientific Advisory Committee for Nutrition (SACN), guidelines by The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), The National Health Service (NHS), peer reviewed clinical trials, academic papers and expert opinion.

What is functional testing?
Functional Testing helps identify any imbalances in the body and when used in conjunction with other clinical tools can be informative in provided more personalised nutritional the lifestyle advice. These tests should not be used for diagnostic purposes. These tests will be analysed by the carefully selected laboratories typically possessing CLIA, UKAS or ISO17025 accreditations.
Tests will be interpreted in collaboration between the laboratory and myself.
